1. The Detroit Masonic Temple
Known as one of the most haunted buildings in Detroit, and the largest Masonic temple in the world, the Detroit Masonic Temple is ominous on the outside, but on the inside, it is a maze of ballrooms, winding corridors, and theatres.
2. Fox Theatre
The Detroit Fox Theatre is the largest of the historic Fox Theatres built in the late 1920s by architect William Fox. The restored lavish interior is reminiscent of the roaring 20s with plush reds and glimmering gold accents. Try a selfie with the illuminated marquee as your backdrop.

This historic building, located in the heart of Detroit’s financial district is a great example of art-deco architecture, boasting bold tile facades and high-arched ceilings. Drop in for a tour or just stop in to snap a pic, but either way, be sure to look up and see the vibrant ceiling mural.
