6. Atlantic City Aquarium & Marine Mammal Stranding Center
Explore sea life exhibitions and touch tanks or go on boat excursions from Historic Gardner’s Basin at the Atlantic City Aquarium. For sea-life enthusiasts, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center features a fascinating museum where you can see life-size replicas of marine animals and whale bones.
7. Atlantic City Historical Museum

8. Absecon Lighthouse
The country’s third tallest lighthouse houses a small museum so you can see how the original lighthouse keeper lived. For amazing views of the Atlantic and scenery surrounding the Jersey Shore, you can climb the 228 steps to the top.

Visit during the summer months and catch the city’s summer concert series on the beach or visit Steel Pier, the city’s iconic amusement park perched atop the Atlantic Ocean.
